Our Kentucky whiskey barrels are crafted from 1 inch thick American white oak Dimensions: 53 gallon, 36'' tall, 21'' dia. at the top and bottom, and 24'' dia. in the middle. New barrels weigh about 110 lbs, used barrels weigh approximately 125 lbs. Barrels are held together by 6 double riveted steel hoops. REMOVE TOPS
#520 BARREL TOP REMOVAL $10.00 It's not easy to get the tops out of these sturdy barrels, they have to be cut out, let us do it for you. Labor for removing barrel tops: $10.00 per barrel. Use topless barrels for display, as peanut barrels, or trash receptacles
SECURE HOOPS
#521 SECURE THE HOOPS $10.00 Very important if the barrel will be allowed to dry out. Our barrels are made to hold liquids. They can be used for other things like, display, storage, or trash receptacles. The wood will shrink a bit as it dries out. You will want to secure the hoops with screws to keep them from falling off as the barrel dries out. We can do this for you. We put two screws in each of the hoops to keep them in place. BL-I Cast Iron Handle Lid, $25.00 WITH PURCHASE OF BARREL This barrel lid is one of our vintage barrel tops with an unpainted cast iron handle on it. These can be used as trash can lids along with one of our Kentucky white oak whiskey barrels.

BL-G Galvanized Handle Lid $25.00 WITH PURCHASE OF BARREL This barrel lid is one of our vintage barrel tops with a strong 6.5 inch Galvanized handle.
CUSTOM CUTS
#522 CUSTOM CUTS $10.00 (per cut) We have requests for custom cuts. If you would like the top third cut off, top 7 inches, or cut anywhere we can do it for you. (we do not make horizontal cuts, cuts that go through the hoops) It's not easy to cut the 1 inch thick solid oak barrels, let us do it for you.
BARREL BUNGS

We ship our barrels with bungs in them, but if you are going to make your own brew you will want to have a few on hand. 2" diameter at top, 1 7/8" diameter at bottom, 7/8" thick
