Our Kentucky whiskey barrels are crafted from 1 inch thick American white oak Dimensions: 53 gallon, 36'' tall, 21'' dia. at the top and bottom, and 24'' dia. in the middle. New barrels weigh about 110 lbs, used barrels weigh approximately 125 lbs. Barrels are held together by 6 double riveted steel hoops.

These VINTAGE barrels have been reused to make other liquors, whiskies or brandy. Some Vintage barrels may have a slight crack in one of the one inch thick oak stave. this does not affect the integrity of the barrel in any way. Barrel may have bung hole in one end. If you are looking for a rustic vintage barrel, this is the barrel for you. Great for displays, trash receptacles, planters, props.
